Where was/is home: a small town called Bridgepot in upstate New York
Education background: Natural Resources with an Environmental Studies concentraion, Cornell University, a semester abroad in Uppsala Sweden and a summer abroad in Monterrey Mexico
What brought you to the river: I wanted a people-oriented job where I would spend most of my time on a whitewater river and I knew that the Nantahala was the place to start.
Your paddling background: many years as a flatwater kayaker and two years as a whitewater kayaker, including volunteering as an instructor for the Cornell Outing Club.
Favorite River: the Ottawa River
Favorite way to spend a day: learning something new and useful
