It is not just our choice of countries, or the rivers we enjoy in each country, but our eye to detail. Personally running each trip with our own hand-picked group of international guides, we share a deep commitment to the communities in each country. We go out of our way to support small local businesses such as the bakeries ("panaderias"), stores ("supers"), bars ("cervezas") and local sites of interest. The quality of our trips extends far beyond the paddling (which is the easy part), it is our work initiating you into the wonderful cultures of both Costa Rica and Ecuador that set up apart.

Dates: October through December
Costa Rica is a kayaker’s destination spot, with tropical flora and fauna and incredible whitewater that makes for a memorable experience. Your trip to Costa Rica will not be considered a once in a lifetime opportunity, but the first of many extraordinary trips to paddle the rivers we personally hold dear to us.

Skill Level: Class II-III, III, III-IV, IV and IV+
Dates: November through February
At the foot of the magnificent Andes lie some of the greatest winter-month paddling: Ecuador! A South American experience, Ecuador is the land of the tallest snow-capped volcanoes and amazon jungle, with a rich indigenous culture, tropical rain forests and incredible whitewater. This gem of a country compliments our Costa Rica trips, with more warm-weather paddling during the cold winter months.
The Southern Connection: Ecuador and Costa Rica 2-Week Trip
Skill Level: Class IV - IV+ (with custom itineraries also available)
Dates: December
When one country and one week of paddling is not enough! Our Southern Connection trips combine two weeks of paddling with two different countries. Because of the accessibility of the two countries, travel time is minimal and you are set up for the best of two worlds in one unforgettable paddling trip.
MOUNTAIN BIKING IN ECUADOR
Skill Level: Any
Dates: Nov. and Dec. in Costa Rica, Dec. through Feb. in Ecuador
Whether mountain biking is your first passion or a casual interest, biking through Costa Rica and Ecuador is a must-do for an international travel. You will explore parts of the country not included on the generic itinerary, biking through rain forest canopys or down snow-capped volcanoes. Mountain biking may be arranged as a full week adventure or an add on to a paddling trip.
