ABOUT THE RIVER
Located just over the North Carolina/Tennessee border is the world-famous Ocoee River.

With two sections of river of exciting Class III-IV rapids, the Ocoee is one of the most popular river runs in the southeast.

The Upper Ocoee Is an action-packed run that flows through the 1996 Olympic Slalom course. More remote than the Middle, the rapids are steeper, more pool-drop and carry such names as Humongous, Edge of the World, Roach Motel and Let’s Make a Deal. The Upper Ocoee is available on selective weekends of the summer.

For exciting Class III-IV continuous big water fun, the Middle Ocoee—located just downstream of the Upper Ocoee, is a favorite. Roller coaster, big wave rapids with names like Double Trouble, Table Saw, Double Suck and Hell Hole makes this run too much fun! Both sections are dam-controlled, with the Middle Ocoee available more days of the season.

TRIP OPTIONS
We offer four fully-guided options for whitewater enthusiast on the Class III-IV Ocoee River. Previous experience is not mandatory, but the minimum age for all Ocoee trips is twelve years old.

  • Ocoee Delux: The Ocoee Upper/Middle Trip
Two sections of the Ocoee River in one action-packed day. We begin with a morning run down the upper Ocoee. At the end of the run, we stop for a delicious riverside lunch featuring custom deli-style sandwiches, fresh fruit, chips, beverages and desert. After time to relax and enjoy the river, you then embark on an afternoon of roller-coaster fun down the Middle Ocoee. Trip cost includes transportation from our Nantahala Outpost, all equipment and shuttles, lunch and and action packed-day on the river. This is hands-down our favorite trip.
  • Ocoee Double Header: The Ocoee Double Middle Trip
This is a full day of non-stop fun on the Middle Ocoee! The continuous, big water of the middle Ocoee is so much fun the first time we offer it twice in one day! We use the first run as a warm-up run to oriente the group to the river, followed up with our delicious picnic lunch alongside the river. This gives you a chance to catch your breath before an exciting afternoon run. Trip cost includes transportation from our Nantahala outpost, all equipment and shuttles, lunch, and a memorable full-day on the river.
  • Ocoee Single Upper or Single Middle Trip
When time or budgets do not allow for a full-day trip, the single trip is available for you and your group. Depending on the scheduling of the trip, we offer single trips down both the Upper and Middle Sections of the river.

"Another AWESOME rafting trip with Endless River Adventures. This is the 2nd year in a row that we've gone rafting with you. Everyone had a blast and can't wait to do it again next year. The combo is the way to go. Lunch was great. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. We will all see you again next year."
