Team Up for 2008 College Outdoor Program Tour

 Endless River Adventures and WaveSport are partnering up again in 2008 to provide boats, gear and an evening of training to select College and University Outdoor Programs.

Initiated in 2001, the 2008 tour marks ERA’s eighth year of sponsoring this great event.  “University Outdoor Programs face a number of challenges competing for student’s time and administration’s support,” reflects Juliet Kastorff, “this is our way of giving something back to the community by supporting these hard working programs.”

ERA’s Outdoor Program Tour has lead to lighting a spark of interest at schools that previously did not have active paddling programs, strengthening established programs through the training student leaders receive at these sessions, and offering support in upgrading equipment for programs looking for new gear. 
 
“Through your programs, services, expertise and professionalism, you provide an experience that augments the services offered here at Pfeiffer in introducing students to the variety of joys surrounding boating,” notes Joseph Pate, Director of the Center for Outdoor Leadership at Pfeiffer College.

As it has done for each of the past eight years, this spring ERA will load up vans with Wave Sport boats, paddling equipment and teams of instructors to visit school and clubs for pool sessions and video presentations.  Wave Sport will also add members of their elite team to the ERA team, adding more support to the 2008 tour.

The 2008 Outdoor Program tour already includes the following dates:
Univ of Tennessee, Knoxville - March 6th
Roanoke College - March 17th
Virginia Tech - March 18th
Sweet Briar College – March 19th
East TN State Univ - March 24th
Western Carolina Univ Demo Day - March 29th
Pfeiffer College - April 1st and 2nd
Davidson College - April 3rd
