Professional kayak instruction It is all about You! Watch our instructors out teaching and you will be impressed. There is a focus- with the instructor wanting exactly what you want: for you to learn and to improve. They are able to adapt teaching techniques to accommodate your learning style and make sure you get the most out of your time. Progressive techniques are used to improve your rolling, playing used as a mechanism to gain more boat control, and river running used as the basis to improving your overall skills. We are proud of our group of instructors. They are committed to working with you you in your quest to become a better boater!

Private Instruction is for Your Group of One to Four

For you individually, or your group of up to four, the day is yours to learn as much as you can. The price of private instruction includes everything you will need to spend time on the river!

Never Stop learning Whether it is your first day in a kayak or your day for learning playboating moves, private instruction offers you the greatest value for your time commitment. If you are a beginner, we will help you become comfortable on the water and build a solid foundation. If you are an experienced boater, we will focus on improving upon your technique and learning new moves.

WHEN TO SHEDULE YOUR INSTRUCTION
Private instruction is designed to fit your schedule — whether you have just one day or a full week. Choose the day or days you want and contact us to reserve your time with one of our instructors.

Private Instruction can be arranged as full day or half day sessions.
Half-Day instruction is available for experienced paddled looking for a tune-up on specific technique issues. Shuttle logistcs are part of the instruction time.

Our teaching evolves as the sport changes, but we never lose sight of the important of a solid foundation. We have outlined out specific instruction topics to help you define your instruction goals based on some of the foundation concepts developed by the ERA instructors.
