On behalf of the patients and staff of the Charles George VA Medical Center, I thank you and Endless River Adventures for the "United We Paddle" river trip on September 11 for 16 Veterans and volunteers. As you can imagine, recreational outings such as this help to improve our Veteran's spirits which in turn helps to improve their overall health. Thanks again for the continued support.

I just wanted to thank Endless River once again for not only a fun fishing adventure with my boys, but for taking us back to Bryson City when our car was broken down.  Although the entire car experience was a royal pain, and we didn't get home until 3 days later than planned, it did show us how nice and helpful the people of Western NC are...starting with Ken.  He didn't hesitate to take us back to BC and showed us which car repair places might be open on the weekends. His helpful nature must be contagious because the restaurant manager where we left the car drove us up the mountain to our cabin Friday night and even offered to take us to Sylva on Sat to get a rental car.  Also the lady owned the cabins ended up lending us her car on Saturday which we used to go to Franklin to get a rental.  She said we could take it all the way to Atlanta since our son had to catch a flight their Saturday.  She also offered to put us up in her home if we needed.  Truly amazing. I realize this is probably more than you wanted to know, but the generosity of the people up there amazes me and I had to share the whole story. Anyway...thanks again,

Last Thursday my husband and I had our first real kayaking experience with  Endless River Adventures.  We wanted to take it easy so we chose the Misty Morning lake kayak tour.  We didn't know what to expect, but this ended up being
the highlight of our vacation. Sarge is a great tour guide.  He teaches you what  you need to know and then lets you go to enjoy the scenery at your own pace.  He is very knowledgable about the area and the history.  We couldn't be happier  with our tour.  We will definitely be visiting again next year.  We really love the fact that ERA is so willing to create an invidualized tour to meet the customer's needs.  Thank you so much for a great day!!

Many thanks for your generous contribution to the Scarecrow Fest auction that benefitted our YMCA.  The money raised from your item will help send two children to our summer camp in 2011!
we appreciate your support!

I wanted to let you know that right after Max and Sam met with you all last weekend, they called me SO excited about just how nice and welcoming you were to them. They left feeling like working the outdoors is something they want to do. That is why your company is so special. Thanks for that.

Thanks so much for the great Lendal paddle. I lost my breakdown on that very confusing day on the Sarapiqui but did not hold ERA responsible for the loss. That acknowledged I do accept you gracious gesture. It's a great paddle, I tried it out in the roll pool and I love it.  It's always nice and rare to deal with people who follow-up with past issues and demonstrate a recognition of the value of their customers. Best Regards,
-Bob & Judith

Our experience with you guys was excellent. We appreciated all of the personal touches. Your customer service was excellent. All of your staff enthusiastically took care of us. Indeed, you all made us feel at home. By comparison, your closest competition (yes the one near Nantahala Falls) cannot offer your level of flexibility. Experience with them feels like dealing with a big box chain store, very mechanical and impersonal. It always feels like their staff is just counting off working hours. If they serve one person or 100 within a shift, it doesn't matter.

Of course, having purchased kayaking gear and accessories from you guys for years, I already knew all of this which is why we booked through you. So it is important to keep in mind that there is incredible value in provided truly great customer service. Price is inconsequential, the experience and the right staffing is key.
Warmest regards,

I just want to say thank you for all the inspiration and support youoffer our young women paddlers at Sweet Briar.  The students that went on the intermediate kayaking trip came back on fire!  They were filled with stories of the river, of admiring you and Maria, and pride in their own accomplishments.  The focus on leadership was perfect for the students as well.  I heard a lot about not using the fact that they are women as any kind of excuse for extra attention on the river.   I so appreciate your design of that trip.  It made an immeasurable impact on the students.  My only regret is that I was unable to attend.

I also want you to know that the three students that went down on their own to paddle the Natahala truly felt embraced by you and Ken.  Carlie,Amanda and Sara were so excited and again inspired.  Secretly, Shannon and I watched as they departed on their own as if we were proud parents.  We have been striving to get the students to the point of paddling on their own, and now they are buying their own gear and finding a way to make connections with local paddlers on their own.  The role you played in their independence has been huge.  First, your role modeling what is possible has made a difference, your generosity to let them camp in your parking lot, the deal on gear, and Ken giving Sara that paddle...wow...I have to say your generosity has made all the difference in the world to those students and to us.  Thank you again.

I just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail to say hi. I think you all
should be returning from Ecuador sometime soon now, if you haven't already. I'm off to Ireland on Tuesday-a rather spur of the moment trip by Becky and myself inspired by the movie P. S. I Love You. It should be fun. I'm trying to work out a half day of kayaking while I'm there. I've made a few contacts over the internet, but mainly it will depend on the weather and my travel companions (my sister and sister-in-law are also going). When I was e-mailing the person that I'll probably end up boating with, I listed the rivers I've been on to give him an idea of my ability, and I must admit that, thanks to Endless River Adventures, I have quite the whitewater dossier. I impressed myself! I've always been so grateful for the instruction you all have given me and the confidence you've instilled in me, but I think that it wasn't until I
looked at that list that the full impact of how much you all have
broaden my life and experiences hit me. Thank you for that. Thank you
for being more than a company; thank you for being family.
