EcoSplash camp is all about getting kids outside, on the river- and in the river, for two wonderful days! We team up with Mainspring Conservation Trust for the youth environmental education segment of our EcoSplash Camps to encourage hands-on educational activities that allow kids to experience their natural surroundings in a way they wouldn’t be able to inside a classroom.

What EcoSplash is All About

ECOSPLASH CAMP is for Kids ages 6 – 12 who want to spend time outside, exploring nature on the water and in the water. Each camp is a 2-day camp that runs from 9 AM – 4:30 PM.
Price for our 2-Day EcoSplash Camp is $300. This includes equipment, instructors, lunch and transportation.

Each day broken into two parts:
Part One is river time. For river time the group heads out with professional instructors and rafts or duckys to spend the morning on Class II whitewater. The morning is spent looking for pools to swim in, beaches to play on and the opportunity to just have fun outdoors and away from electronics. It is not necessary to have had any experience in a raft or ducky. We will then take a break for lunch. 

Part Two is spent with a biologist, snorkels, goggles and nets, exploring the local ecosystems and observing life in the streams in Western North Carolina.

We have teamed up with Mainspring Conservation to offer a camp with days split between the river (in kayak, ducky or raft) and youth environmental education: exploring the river ecosystems with goggles and snorkels and lesson in nature.
