Linc Stallings
Where did you once call home: Originally Gainesville, FL now Hiawassee, GA
On Staff Since: since 2006 working on the Cheoah, full time in 2008
Positions: Ocoee and Cheoah Guide, Kayak Instructor, hopefully ERA's first Raft Guide in Costa Rica and Ecuador!
When not working at ERA: Guiding on Section IV of the Chattooga in the spring, the Gauley in the fall.
Years Paddling: Since the summer of 1986
Favorite River to be on: Chattooga, Cheoah, Upper Yough
When not on the river, you can be found: Hanging out at High Shoals/Blue Hole Falls-just upstream from my house.
Describe the perfect day: Waking up after an all-night rainstorm, putting in at Thrift's Ferry to run Section IV of the Chattooga with the water rising at every rapid and bend of the river so that by the time I hit Five Falls the level is at about 3 feet and then finishing up the day paddling across Lake Tugalo at sunset.
