For those who come equipped with a kayak-ready vehicle, we are happy to extend a discount for transportation:

Full Day instruction is scheduled from 9-5, and includes your personal instructor, all essential kayak gear, and transportation.	* Half Day instruction is available for experienced kayakers seeking a tune up on specific issues. Half day is not available for beginning instruction. Times are scheduled from 9-12:30 or 1:30-5, on a space available basis not including weekends. Shuttle logistics are part of instruction time.
Prefer to meet us at a river? We are happy to do so simply by adding in the mileage fee of $30.00.

Group workshops are based on a 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio

If you have custom group needs, contact us to arrange custom dates and itineraries/workshops that will work for you. Custom programs are available year-round.

Payment:
In order to secure your preferred instruction date, all reservations are prepaid in full. Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made 14 days before instruction date will be eligible for a 100% refund; 14 days or less there is no refund. We will always work to accommodate you on date changes for private instruction.

Lodging:
The Nantahala Gorge area has a myriad of accommodations and restaurants, including camping, motels, and bed & breakfast lodges. Please see our Accommodations page to choose lodging that suits your preferences.
