The second annual Nantahala Open was even more fun to spectator than the first: more air, smoother style, crazier carnage, and MUCH warmer weather!

The famous Nantahala River was in it prime today. Travelling all the way from Australia as part of Team Wave Sport,  I could easily say it was the cleanest water I have ever seen! With the fresh new spring growth of the eastern hard wood forest, the new season appeared to have burst to life.

It was great meeting so many smiling people on the river, even though their hands felt  frozen cold… With many people taking up the challenge of running the fall’s, some successful, some not so success, and later sharing their experience over some free beer at Endless Rivers Adventures, we all had a unreal day!

Look forward to coming back next year!
